Lesson Must Haves
BUDS - Bowel, Urine, Diet, Sleep
I will need to know the answers to the questions on the BUDS form each day. This is to ensure that your child is well and lessons can continue and/or to allow me to make any adjustments to the lesson if necessary.
Swim Diapers
Your child must wear 2 snug fitting, reusable swim diapers during each lesson if they are not 100% potty trained. This is to help prevent any accidents in the pool. Lessons for the remainder of the day must be cancelled and the pool shocked if poopy makes it into the pool. Take a look at these options.
Towels
Three towels are needed for each lesson. You will place 2 towels down on the hand out mat and use 1 towel to dry your child. If your kiddo is small you may fold a large beach towel in half to count as 2 towels down on the mat. The reason for this is to help prevent any shared spaces. Please use towels on the changing areas on the patio as well.

Books
Float Like a Boat & Violet Finds Her Float are two great books to read to your children in preparation of lessons.
Wet/Dry Bags
These are great for swim diapers and bathing suits.
Life Vest
Life vests are approved for open water only. If you and your family visit the lake or beach, please be sure to have a proper fitting (by weight) jacket for your child. Bring it to lessons - we can let them try it out and what it feels like. **Costco always has HyperLite jackets at a great price in the spring.
